The Winch

The Winch is a community charity that has supported young people in Camden and nearby areas since 1973. Based at 21 Winchester Road, it provides a welcoming hub where residents can connect and access support from experienced staff. The organisation also operates the popular Belsize Community Library, a valued space for reading, creativity, and community engagement.

Its mission is to help every child succeed regardless of circumstance by building long-term, trusted relationships with young people and their families. The Winch works to strengthen community ties and expand opportunities for residents to feel a true sense of belonging, including initiatives like the parent-led Connecting Parents group.
